Carrier Relations Manager, BenefitMall
Kelly is originally from Memphis, TN and came to Texas is 1977. He began his insurance career in 1994, writing annuity business in the banking industry. Kelly moved to the carrier side of the business in 1998, working in group sales and territory management for Dental, Vision, Disability and Life products over the next five years. During this period he was consistently recognized as a top producer, winning numerous corporate sales awards. He began working in the senior market in 2007, as a Regional Sales Manager working with carriers, General Agencies and Field Marketing Organizations to develop marketing and sales strategies to maximize business opportunities in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California.
Kelly joined BenefitMall in December of 2009 as the Manager of Carrier Relations, working with ancillary, individual medical and senior market product carrier partners. Kelly is responsible for negotiating and reviewing contracts in order to maintain competitive products in the marketplace, as well as investigating and researching new potential product lines for BenefitMall.
Kelly excels in creating new relationships and developing business through the management of existing relationships. He is an accomplished presenter and speaker with many of his presentations for training, continuing education and informational purposes resulting in the establishment of key business relationships.
Kelly has served in various positions on the Board of Directors for the Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters, including serving as President in 2008-2009.
