
Wesley Foster graduated from Northwestern State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and began his career in Group Health Insurance in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1983. While in Shreveport, Wesley was a charter member of the Shreveport/Bossier Association of Health Underwriters.
After relocating to Texas, Wesley developed the Broker Division for Coastal Bend Health Plan in Corpus Christi, Texas. Later, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Foster Benefit Resources for seven-and-a-half years. Currently, Wesley is employed by BenefitMall as a Broker Sales Representative.
Wesley served on the board of the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters for nine years, serving as President from 2001-2002. He was a Delegate to the NAHU Convention in 2003.
On the state level, Wesley served on the board of the Texas Association of Health Underwriters for two years: he was the State Convention Chair during the 2002-2003 chapter year and served as TAHU’s New Member Growth Chair from 2003-2004.
Wesley has also served on the board of the Fort Worth Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as the liaison between FWAIFA and FWAHU.
Wesley has been married to Patricia for 27 years and has a 24 year old daughter, Bonnie, who recently graduated from SMU and is a teacher at Good Shepherd Episcopal School. He also has a 33 year old son, Allen, who lives in Miami Beach, Florida. He has 3 grandchildren.
