Eric Johnson works for First Horizon Msaver as a Regional Sales Manager covering the Texas and Louisiana markets. He brings nearly 12 years of insurance sales experience to the organization.
In his current role, Eric specializes in consumer-driven health care, educating health insurance professionals and assisting in the implementation of the company’s Health Savings Account (HSA) program.
A recognized leader in the health insurance industry, Eric is a Past President of the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters and a national instructor for NAHU’s Consumer Directed Health Care certification course. He is a frequent speaker at insurance conferences and association meetings across the country and was recently honored with the William G. Wetzel Award for Excellence in Public Speaking by the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Currently, Eric writes a monthly column for Benefits Selling Magazine called “On Second Thought.” He is also a co-author of the hit play America’s Health Care System on Trial, a three-hour presentation that takes a humorous look at the healthcare debate.
Eric has lived in Texas all his life. He was born and raised in Houston and has lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1997. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
